I’ve been painting miniatures professionally for many years, and from the start I kept running into the same frustration: all the existing paint stations were fixed setups. They were bulky, heavy, and meant to stay in one place. For me, that just didn’t work. I wanted something mobile, easy to store, and flexible enough to adapt to the way I paint, whether that’s at the kitchen table, outside in the garden, or even at a convention.
That’s why, years ago, I designed my very first paint station. I needed everything I use: paints, brushes, miniatures, organized in one compact, portable unit. Light enough to carry, sturdy enough to set down anywhere, and practical enough that I could start painting right away. What started as a personal solution quickly turned into something I began selling, because I discovered that other painters had the exact same problem.
Over the years, these paint stations have continued to evolve. Each design has been refined through my own experience as a professional painter and through feedback from other hobbyists. They’re made from cast parts, making them solid and durable, built to last for years. What’s essential to me is that every paint station comes in its own theme. You can choose between a Fantasy, Dark Gothic, or Scrapyard theme. That way, the stations aren’t just functional, they’re also inspiring to work with, like having a miniature studio that matches your personal style.
And I’m far from done. I keep tweaking, testing, and improving, because I see these paint stations as a living project that grows alongside the hobby. New expansions, new themes, and new ideas are always on the drawing board. My goal is simple: to give every painter, beginner or professional, a workspace that’s as flexible, mobile, and enjoyable as the hobby itself.
